Dendrobium orchids can be grown as indoor plants as long as they get a sufficient amount of light & air circulation.

  Light

This plant prefers bright indirect light, but can tolerate medium indirect light. Plants grown under ideal light will have apple green leaves and plants which are not getting enough light will have dark green leaves. Learn more about light here

In Coconut Husk medium water retention is more compared to Pine Bark, so plants in Coconut Husk may require once in 2-3 days watering compared to 1-2 days watering in Pine Bark.  Medium may dry faster or slower depending on the weather conditions. Dendrobium anosmum sp. is a species native to southeast Asia, Sri Lanks, New Guinea, including Indochina, Indonesia & Philippines. This is a selection of the species with lovely splash of dark purple on light lavender flowers. Den. anosmum produces long, pendulous canes that are adorned with a multitude of fragrant flowers. Each cane is adorned with blooms that appear near each leaf, creating a stunning display. The scent of these flowers is reminiscent of fresh raspberries and cream, making them a popular choice among orchid enthusiasts. While Den. anosmum sp. is deciduous in nature and will shed its leaves in winter, it will quickly regrow new growth as the growing season approaches.
