Return & Refund Policy

If you receive a damaged or defective Plant, Pot, Accessory, or Supply, you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt. The refund or replacement is subject to the following conditions.

Fragility Risk vs. Plant Guarantee

Please read this distinction carefully before ordering plants with flowers:

  • What is NOT Covered (Flower Risk): Plants with Flowers/Buds are highly sensitive to transport stress (environmental shock). Flowers may wilt, dry, or buds may drop during shipping. This is natural behavior for live plants in transit and is not covered for returns or refunds.

  • What IS Covered (Plant Guarantee): The condition of the plant itself is covered. We guarantee that the plant will arrive healthy. If the plant stems, leaves, or roots are damaged or defective upon arrival, this is eligible for a return or claim.

Return Conditions

To claim a return or replacement, you must adhere to the following:

  • 24-Hour Notification: You must notify us of any deficiencies within 24 hours of receipt. No claims will be accepted after this period.

  • No Repotting: Claims will be rejected if the plant has been re-potted, the potting media changed, or if it has been bare-rooted, or Plant Tag sticker is missing. These actions cause transit shock and affect plant health.

  • Proof of Damage: You must email an image of the Product to info@orchid-tree.com or by Whatsapp 9900802332. The Product should be returned in the actual condition it was delivered in.

  • Missing Packages: If the package is not received within 4-5 working days, contact us immediately at info@orchid-tree.com or +91-9900802332 so we can trace it. We do not accept claims for delayed transit if we were not informed in time.

Transit Risks

You recognize that live plants can be degraded by heat, cold, lack of water, direct sunlight, or improper handling or care after delivery; these factors are beyond the Company's control. However, as stated above, we cover only physical damage to the plant found upon arrival.

Refunds & Costs

  • Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 7 days of us receiving the return package.

  • Method: Refunds are issued as a voucher code.

  • Shipping Costs:

    • If the original order had free shipping, postage is not deducted.

    • Pick-up service charges will be deducted from the total refund.

    • If you self-ship the return, it is at your own cost. We do not offer Freight To Collect (FTC).

  • Cancellation Fee: A cancellation charge of 10% of the total order amount applies to all cancellations and refunds.

  • Note: Refunds are for the item cost only; shipping and service charges are non-refundable. Terracotta planters are non-returnable.
