Vandaceous plants require daily watering and in the summer probably twice a day. Spray the water on the roots until the grey roots turns green. You can also soak the roots once in a week with fertilizer water, if the plants appear dehydrated.  Learn more about watering here

Grown bare-root without potting media, this epiphytic orchid is famous for its clean pale petals, vibrant fuchsia lip, and powerful room-filling grape-spiced perfume.

🌿 Quick Care Guide

  • Light: High, bright indirect light (east/south window or 50% shade cloth). Aim for light grassy-green leaves.

  • Bare-Root Watering: Grown without soil in slatted baskets. Saturate aerial roots daily in summer until they turn deep green and retain a water drop at the tip. Never let roots stay dry for long, but avoid trapping water in top leaf crowns to prevent crown rot.

  • Temp, Humidity & Air: Thrives in warm-to-hot environments (24°C–35°C) with 60%–80% humidity. Constant air movement is essential to prevent rot.
