Description
Papilionanda Ruby Prince x Ascocenda Wilas is a hybrid vanda with Terete leaves, which are unique cylindrical or Pencil like. The bright pink flowers are large and beautiful. The leaves of this hybrid are similar to the Parent Papilionanda Ruby Prince. Terete vandas thrive in very bright light or full sun, much higher than strap leaf vandas tolerate, Their pencil like leaves are an adaptation to strong sunlight. Their terete leaves are an evolutionary adaptation to reduce water loss in stron sun & dry conditions.
Roots should be watered daily, twice in hot & dry seasons.
Saturate the roots with water everytime you water, that means the roots should turn green and retain a drop of water at the tip.
