Oncidium orchids grow well under medium light. However certain hybrids from Thailand can even grown in bright indirect light. Learn more about light here 

 Watering

Please be careful with the watering as the Sphagnum moss medium retains too much moisture. The medium could take up to a week to dry. Other medium like Pine bark dries within 1 or 2 days. Medium may dry faster or slower depending on the weather conditions. Fertilizing

Add a vibrant pop of color to your windowsill with the Rodrumnia Jairak Venus Orchid Plant. It is a hybrid of Tolumnia Jairak Firm x Rodriguezia bracteata Sp.

An absolute masterpiece of nature, this variety enchants with its delicate, romantic palette. It unveils blossoms in a breathtaking spectrum of soft onion-pink to ethereal pale pink, looks as if it were gently spun from silk.

  • "Dancing Lady" Shape:  Could open as different variants, both sport a massively oversized, heavily ruffled lower lip that perfectly mimics a flowing ballroom dress.

  • Reblooming Spikes: Genetic superpowers allow green flower spikes to branch out and produce a second wave of blooms from lower nodes never cut a spike while it is still green!

🌿 Care Guide

Tolumnia orchids have very thin root systems and love a rapid wetting and even faster drying cycle:

  • ☀️ Light: Bright, heavily filtered sunlight (ideal for East or shaded South/West windows). Correct lighting triggers a beautiful, subtle reddish freckling on the green leaf fans.

  • 💧 Watering: Frequent, rapid wet-to-dry cycles. Drench thoroughly, but ensure roots dry out completely within a few hours. Avoid pooling water in the leaf fans to prevent crown rot.

  • 💨 Humidity & Airflow: Prefers 50%–70% humidity. Continuous, active air movement is mandatory to prevent root rot.
