Short Description: Phalaenopsis violacea is native to the Andaman Islands, the Nicobar Islands, and northwestern Sumatra. The Indigo selection of the species is very fragrant, with a spicy herbal scent. Lovely Star-shaped blue waxy flowers. A Sib crossing for al phalaenopsis species gives much stronger offspring.

Phalaenopsis orchids can be grown as indoor plants as long as they get a sufficient amount of light & air circulation. Please be careful with the watering as the medium retains too much moisture. Touch and feel the medium, only when partially dry water the plant. The medium could take up to a week to dry.
