Please be careful with the watering as the Sphagnum moss medium retains too much moisture. The medium could take up to a week to dry. Other medium like Pine bark dries within 1 or 2 days. Medium may dry faster or slower depending on the weather conditions. Phalaenopsis orchids are perfect for indoor cultivation when provided with sufficient light and proper air circulation:

  • ☀️ Light: Place in bright, indirect sunlight, ideally near a south- or east-facing window protected by a sheer curtain. Keep shaded from hot, direct midday sun to avoid leaf burn.

  • 💧 Watering: Water with caution, as orchid media easily retains excess moisture. Touch and feel the medium—water thoroughly only when it is partially dry and the pot feels lightweight (this can take up to a week). Let all excess water drain away completely; never leave roots standing in stagnant puddles.

  • 🪵 Potting Media: Grow exclusively in a highly chunky, fast-draining substrate. Coarse pine bark chips or pure sphagnum moss work perfectly to allow proper root respiration.

  • 🌡️ Temperature & Climate: Maintain warm indoor temperatures between 18°C and 32°C. To support its tropical nature in dry rooms, boost humidity by placing the pot over a shallow tray filled with pebbles and water.
