Oncidium orchids grow well under medium light. However certain hybrids from Thailand can even grown in bright indirect light. Learn more about light here 

 Watering

Please be careful with the watering as the Sphagnum moss medium retains too much moisture. The medium could take up to a week to dry. Other medium like Pine bark dries within 1 or 2 days. Medium may dry faster or slower depending on the weather conditions. Fertilizing

Add an exotic touch to your collection with the Oncidium Tzeng Wen Spots! Inheriting its striking appearance from its Brassia (Spider Orchid) ancestry, this hybrid showcases large, spidery flowers with an attractive, contrasting leopard pattern and a powerful morning fragrance.

These Plants have produced new roots in their new medium but not anchored yet.

✨ Flower Specialties

  • Spider-Like Shape: Long, thin, spiky petals that mimic spider legs due to its parent Brassia Rex.

  • Leopard Pattern: Large, bright yellow petals covered in dense, dark chocolate-brown spots.

  • Vibrant Lip: Features a large, flat, neon yellow lip with a beautifully ruffled edge.

  • Sweet Scent: Blooms release a strong, sweet, and spicy fragrance on warm mornings.

  • High Yield & Unique Traits: Carries 15 to 20 long-lasting blooms per spike. The larger bulbs naturally feature distinct brown edges.

  • Light: Bright, indirect sunlight. Aim for light grassy green leaves (dark green means too little light; yellow means too much).

  • Watering: Water copiously, then let the medium almost dry out before watering again. Never let the pot sit in standing water.

  • Temperature & Humidity: Days between 21°C to 29°C, with a night drop to 15°C–18°C to trigger blooms. Maintain 50–70% humidity with gentle air movement.
