  Light

This plant prefers bright indirect light, but can tolerate medium indirect light. Plants grown under ideal light will have apple green leaves and plants which are not getting enough light will have dark green leaves. Learn more about light here

In Coconut Husk medium water retention is more compared to Pine Bark, so plants in Coconut Husk may require once in 2-3 days watering compared to 1-2 days watering in Pine Bark.  Medium may dry faster or slower depending on the weather conditions. A cross between Dendrobium Midas Gold and Dendrobium Santana, this bare root Taiwan import is celebrated for its rare, vibrant yellow blooms and beginner friendly care.

🌸 Flower Specialties

  • Explosive Node-Based Blooming: Blooms directly out of vertical canes, producing clusters of 2 to 3 flowers at almost every leaf node to cover the plant from top to bottom.

  • Rare Yellow Coloration: Showcases a highly reflective, bright golden-yellow hue with a clean, creamy throat and a soft amber orange eye a rare color dynamic in Nobile type orchids.  

  • Tetraploid Durability: Extra thick, waxy petals stemming from its tetraploid genetics prevent early wilting, creating long-lasting blooms that endure for 6 to 8 weeks.

  • Spring Bloomer: Generates a reliable, massive seasonal display typically between February and April.

🌿 Care Guide

  • Light: Requires very bright, indirect sunlight near an East facing window or a shaded South/West window. Aim for light, grassy green foliage.
