Dendrobium Care Guide
Dendrobium orchids can be grown as indoor plants as long as they get a sufficient amount of light & air circulation.

Watering
In Coconut Husk medium water retention is more compared to Pine Bark, so plants in Coconut Husk may require once in 2-3 days watering compared to 1-2 days watering in Pine Bark. Medium may dry faster or slower depending on the weather conditions. So always touch and feel the medium, only when partially dry water the plant. Learn more about watering here
Fertilizing
Fertilizing your orchid regularly provides it with the nutrients it needs for optimal health, immunity and vigorous blooming. Weekly once with Bio-20 or Basfoliar 19:19:19 for growth and rooting. Once a month with Basfoliar 13-40-13. Learn more about fertilizing here

✨ Flower Specialties
-
Twisted Antelope Petals: Sepals and petals twist elegantly like antelope horns—a unique look in high demand.
-
Translucent Accents: Delicate, paper-thin petals highlighted by a soft pink or rosy-mauve tint.
-
Fringed Trumpet Lip: Ruffled cream-yellow lip featuring soft hairs and a finely ruffled edge.
-
Nodes of Blooms: Flowers emerge in pairs or trios along almost the entire length of the mature canes.
-
Sweet Violet Fragrance: Emits a sweet scent resembling violets or honey that intensifies in morning warmth.
🌿Care Guide
Dendrobiums are exceptionally easy to grow. Water well and let the medium dry slightly between waterings to ensure lovely blooms.
-
Light & Placement: Bright, filtered sunlight (50% shade). Protect from harsh midday sun. Mount on cork, wood, or a hanging basket so canes hang down naturally.
-
Summer Care (May–Oct): Water heavily to keep roots damp but not waterlogged. Apply a quarter-strength balanced fertilizer weekly in a warm, humid environment.
-
Winter Dry Rest (Nov–Mar): Halt all fertilizer by late October and drastically reduce water (mist roots only every 2–3 weeks if shriveling). Total leaf drop is normal and necessary to trigger flower buds instead of leafy shoots (keikis).
-
Spring Blooming (Apr–May): Lightly resume watering once buds are fully formed. Increase watering immediately after flowers fade and new green shoots appear at the base.
