Short Description: Dendrobium miyakei sp. is native to Taiwan and Philippines, Blooms in late winter to early spring & blooms again in summer to fall. Bright pink very attractive flowers arise in a bunch from the nodes on the older leafless canes, This species likes the winter rest, reduce the watering and the fertilizer in winter. Increase the watering and fertilizing as spring approaches. Den. Goldschmidtianum and Den. Miyakei flowers look very very similar, However the Den. Goldschmidtianum is fragrant and Den. Miyakei is not fragrant.
