Watering
In Coconut Husk medium water retention is more compared to Pine Bark, so plants in Coconut Husk may require once in 2-3 days watering compared to 1-2 days watering in Pine Bark. Medium may dry faster or slower depending on the weather conditions. So always touch and feel the medium, only when partially dry water the plant. Learn more about watering here

✨ Flower Specialties
-
Star-Shaped Form: Features medium-sized, perfectly symmetrical petals with sharply defined, star-like tips.
-
Vivid Pigmentation: Inherits a deep, non-fading bright red color passed down from its ancestor, Cattleya cinnabarina (which accounts for over 42% of its genetic makeup).
-
Rupicolous Heritage: Its parentage traces back to rock-dwelling Brazilian orchids, giving it exceptionally tough, narrow, straight pseudobulbs and highly resilient roots.
-
Frequent Bloomer: Exhibits exceptionally robust growth habits and is known to bloom multiple times throughout the year under proper conditions.
🪴Care Guide
-
☀️ Light: Thrives in high, bright indirect sunlight (perfect for east windows or shaded south/west windows). Leaves should remain a healthy light-medium green. Dark green indicates too little light, while purple-tinged edges mean too much sun.
-
💧 Watering: Follow a strict wet-to-dry cycle. Water thoroughly once every 7 to 10 days by flushing room-temperature water through the substrate, then allow the medium to dry out completely before watering again. Never use ice.
-
🌡️ Climate & Airflow: Prefers daytime temperatures between 21°C to 36°C and a night drop to around 15°C to 18°C. Maintain moderate-to-high humidity (50% to 80%) and provide continuous, gentle air movement to keep the foliage healthy.
