Cattleya orchids are very sturdy and can take a lot of abuse from those who tend to forget to water. They are also tolerant of several temperature ranges.

  Light

This plant prefers bright indirect light, but can tolerate medium indirect light. Plants grown under ideal light will have apple green leaves and plants which are not getting enough light will have dark green leaves. Learn more about light here 

 Watering

In Coconut Husk medium water retention is more compared to Pine Bark, so plants in Coconut Husk may require once in 2-3 days watering compared to 1-2 days watering in Pine Bark.  Medium may dry faster or slower depending on the weather conditions. Fertilizing

Volkertara Samantha Marko is a hybrid of the Volkertata genus, A cross between Rlc. Orange Nugget X Guaritonia Why Not, originated by Ah Chat Orch. in 2013. This hybrid produces beautiful Rust coloured flowers. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Guarianthe aurantiaca & Broughtonia sanguinea.

Volkertara orchids are complex hybrids, meaning they are man-made crosses of existing orchid species. 
This genus refers to a registered hybrid genus of orchids, not a natural one created by the Royal Horticultural Society(RHS). It is a combination of parents from the genera Rhyncattleanthe, Broughtonia, and Guarianthe, resulting in a variety of hybrid orchids with unique characteristics.
