The flowers are waxy, very attractive Red coloured flowers. Anthuriums are houseplants that generally flower nearly year-round. They need a high light but not direct sunlight. Anthuriums are good filler plants to create Humidity for orchids. Do not over-water the anthuriums as it may cause root damage and yellowing of the leaves. The anthurium plant is grown as a houseplant in semi-shade areas.
