Anthurium is a shade loving plant can be grown as indoor plants as long as they get a sufficient amount of light & air circulation.

  Light

This plant prefers bright indirect light, but can tolerate medium indirect light. Flowering require bright indirect light. Learn more about light here 

 Watering

Please be careful with the watering as the peat based medium retains too much moisture. The medium could take up to a week to dry. Medium may dry faster or slower depending on the weather conditions. Fertilizing

Weekly once with Bio-20 or Basfoliar 19:19:19 for growth and rooting. Once a month with Basfoliar 13-40-13. Learn more about fertilizing here

 

 

Anthuriums commonly known as the Flamingo Flower, are exotic houseplants native to the tropical cloud forests of Colombia and Ecuador. Highly celebrated for their striking, polished appearance, these beautiful epiphytes feature lush, heart-shaped or arrow-shaped green leaves that perfectly anchor their famously colorful, long-lasting blooms.

🌸 Flower Specialty
  • Boasts an incredibly bold and festive color palette, showing off glossy, heart-shaped flower heads in brilliant shades of fiery red, vibrant pink, coral orange, soft cream, and pure white.
  • Each unique "flower head" consists of a smooth, waxy modified leaf called a spathe from which a central, textured spike (the spadix) stands out. Their striking, lacquered appearance is so flawless that they are frequently mistaken for artificial flowers.
  • Ideally suited for humid indoor spaces. They are exceptionally productive bloomers that can flower almost all year long, with individual flower heads remaining open and pristine for up to 1 to 2 months.
🌿 Care Guide
  • Requires plenty of bright, indirect sunlight to continuously fuel new flower buds. Keep it safely shielded from harsh, direct midday sun to prevent leaf scorching, but avoid deep shade which will inhibit its ability to bloom.
  • Prefers a careful balance of moisture. Employ a strict soak-and-dry routine—water thoroughly only when the top 1 to 2 inches of soil feel dry. Use a pot with excellent drainage holes, and never allow the roots to sit in soggy, waterlogged soil.
  • Flourishes in comfortable, warm temperatures ranging between 18°C and 30°C, and should be kept away from cold winter drafts under 15°C. Use a well draining medium.
