Rex Begonias are known for their vibrant and uniquely patterned foliage, offering a stunning addition to indoor and outdoor spaces. While they do produce small flowers, the primary appeal lies in their leaves, which come in a diverse range of colors, shapes, and texture.

Many varieties exhibit a silvery or metallic sheen on their leaves, adding an extra dimension to their beauty.
Mature plants typically reach 12-18 inches (30-45 cm) in height and width.

Rex Begonias are known for being a bit demanding, but their beautiful foliage makes the effort worthwhile. Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. They prefer a porous, well-draining, peat-based potting mix, possibly with an acidic nature.

Keep the soil consistently moist but avoid overwatering, as it can lead to root rot. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings.
