Add dramatic mystery and rich fragrance to your garden with the striking Black Purple Floribunda Rose! Famous for its intense color-morphing blooms that emerge in velvety purple black shades, this nearly thornless shrub produces stunning floribunda style clusters with a powerful spice and clove perfume.

🌸 Flower Specialties

  • Unique Color Morphing: Blossoms emerge as an intense velvety purple black, slowly opening to display bright golden yellow stamens with deeper tones in cooler weather.

  • Potent Spicy Fragrance: Releases a powerful, award winning spicy sweet clove and perfume aroma that easily scents an entire patio or garden bed.

  • Clustered Floribunda Blooms: Produces large, dramatic flower clusters featuring 17 to 25 petals per bloom.

  • Nearly Thornless Stems: Features exceptionally smooth stems that are almost entirely free of thorns, making handling, pruning, and vase cutting effortless.

🌿 Care Guide

  • Light & Airflow: Requires 6+ hours of direct daily sunlight (provide afternoon shade in scorching summer climates); needs good air circulation to keep foliage dry.

  • Soil & Potting: Thrives in rich, loamy, highly well draining soil with a 6.0–6.5 pH; use a mix of garden soil, compost, and perlite/sand for pots.

  • Watering Strategy: Water deeply at the base 2 to 3 times weekly during the growing season (more often in dry summer heat), avoiding overhead watering to prevent fungal issues.
