Holcoglossum kimballianum sp. also called as Vanda kimballiana is a spectacular, rare monopodial species orchid native to montane forests across Southeast Asia. This unique Vanda-like epiphyte is deeply prized by specialized collectors for its striking, architectural growth habit featuring cascading, needle-like terete leaves and graceful wild charm.

🌸 Flower Specialty
  • Produces classy, pristine white to cream petals beautifully paired with a rich, contrasting purple-magenta lip decorated with subtle golden-orange throats.
  • Thrives excellently across cool to intermediate climates. It breaks into full bloom during the autumn season, showing off highly durable, long-lasting flowers that stay pristine for 4 to 6 weeks.
🌿 Care Guide
  • Requires bright, indirect sunlight with ample airflow throughout the year. Filtered morning sunlight keeps its pencil-like foliage sturdy, but it must be strictly shaded from intense midday direct sun.
  • Demands frequent watering during its warm spring and summer growing period. Because this monopodial species lacks water-storing pseudobulbs, never let the root system dry out completely. Keep roots consistently damp, and scale back watering significantly to a light misting cycle during the winter rest phase.
