Bulbophyllum medusae sp. is a species of orchid native to Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo, Lesser Sunda Islands and Sumatra in lowland forests. This orchid species is known for its magnificent flowers, which resemble the Greek mythology monster Medusa. Multiple blooms each year make it the most rewarding of all Bulbophyllums. Each inflorescence produces a pom-pom of long, thin, dangling petals, creating one of the most striking displays in the genus. Easy to grow & bloom. This is a warm-to intermediate-growing orchid that thrives in high humidity and good air movement.
