The spider plant is so named because of its spider-like plants, or spiderettes, which dangle down from the mother plant like spiders on a web when the plant starts growing.
Kokedama is an ancient Japanese art of growing plants in a ball of soil covered with moss. This method of growing house plants is now very popular all over the world. This art of making/growing Kokedama is considered very therapeutic. Growing plants or gardening is a self-healing/ satisfying activity. Kokedamas are considered eco-friendly as no plastic pot is used to grow the plants. They can be displayed on flat surfaces or suspended on a string.
Kokedama can last in the same moss -ball from one year to even up to 5 years if nurtured carefully.
The watering schedule will vary for you depending on your home environment.
