 Watering

Vandaceous plants require daily watering and in the summer probably twice a day. Spray the water on the roots until the grey roots turns green. You can also soak the roots once in a week with fertilizer water, if the plants appear dehydrated.  Learn more about watering here

Description

Vanda (Rhy.) Wuttipanara Manoonya is a hybrid rhynchostyllis, These new rhyn. hybrids have lovely tones of colors that remind us of the shades of silk fabrics. The Orange-Pink flowers with a complimentary purple lip. A hybrid of Rhynvandopsis Dixie Delight × Perreiraara Bangkok Sunset. Rhynchostyllis plants normally have a lot of genetic markings on the leaves.

These orchids are all epiphytic. They do not like any potting medium. Vanda orchids must not be allowed to dry out entirely. Saturate the roots with water every time you water them, which means the roots should turn green and retain a drop of water at the tip. Watering of these Vandas must be done with care to prevent water from remaining in the crowns ( top leaves), a condition that can cause crown rot.
