Vandaceous plants require daily watering and in the summer probably twice a day. Spray the water on the roots until the grey roots turns green. You can also soak the roots once in a week with fertilizer water, if the plants appear dehydrated.  Learn more about watering here

Vanda tessellata Blue is a rare and unique species of orchid found in the Indian subcontinent and Indochina. The blue flowers with hints of brown and electric blue on the lip and rustic aroma, make this species a real showstopper. These orchids are all epiphytic. They do not like any potting medium. Vanda orchid must not be allowed to dry out entirely. Saturate the roots with water everytime you water, that means the roots should turn green and retain a drop of water at the tip. Watering of this Vandas must be done with care to prevent water from remaining in the crowns ( top leafs), a condition that can cause crown rot.
