Short Description: Phalaenopsis parishii is a species phalaenopsis orchid native to Himalayas, Assam India, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. It was named by Heinrich Gustav Reichenbach in honour of the botanist and plant collector Charles Parish. The flowers also have a slight fragrance of burnt matchsticks with some sweet tones as well. Flowers are cute & tiny with a bright contrasting lip.
Phalaenopsis orchids can be grown as indoor plants as long as they get a sufficient amount of light & air circulation. Please be careful with the watering as the medium retains too much moisture. Touch and feel the medium, only when partially dry water the plant. The medium could take up to a week to dry.
Please refer plant pictures for size reference.
Note: Colors, patterns & size of the flowers can vary due to the variations produced by hybrids or species. The flower pictures are only for illustration purposes, the actual flower count and size could vary depending on age and growing conditions. There are chances that the buds/flowers could dry up in transit during Shipping after packing. The local climatic conditions and the nutrition given can affect the brightness & colour intensity of flowers. While we make every effort to match the actual colours of the flowers, the photographs may not be the exact representation, due to different monitor settings.
