Short Description: Phalaenopsis gigantea sp. called so due to the large sized leaves, which can grow as long as 2 feet in length on a fully mature plant. One of the most amazing /exquisite phalaenpopsis species, native to Borneo. A sensitive, slow growing species, can take years to bloom. It is a very demanding plant with strict requirements for growing conditions. These leaves have a slight blue tinge. They are not the very typical fresh green in colour.
Phalaenopsis orchids can be grown as indoor plants as long as they get sufficient amount of light & air circulation. Please be careful with the watering as the medium retains too much moisture. Touch and feel the medium, only when partially dry water the plant. The medium could take up to a week to dry.
Please refer plant pictures for size reference.
