Short Description: Phalaenopsis bellina is a species orchid native to Borneo, Found growing in the canopy of trees where they receive a good amount of sunlight, not very harsh. Star shaped flowers, pink/purple or violet near the base of sepals and petals. The contrast of colours is outstanding. Phalaenopsis bellina is commonly used in Phalaenopsis hybridization, and is the parent of 30 or more primary hybrids, as well as hundreds of complex hybrids..
Phalaenopsis orchids can be grown as indoor plants as long as they get sufficient amount of light & air circulation. Please be careful with the watering as the medium retains too much moisture. Touch and feel the medium, only when partially dry water the plant. The medium could take up to a week to dry.
