Short Description: Phalaenopsis amboinensis sp. is a species of Phalaenopsis orchid native to the Island of Ambon in Indonesia. Produces Star shaped musk scented flowers. The flowers are cream, and have red-brown stripes. The lip is small compared to the size of the flowers. It grows in the shade on the trees in the wet forests. A small sized, compact growing phalaenopsis.
Plants like to be a little moist during the growing season. Enjoys good light
Phalaenopsis orchids can be grown as indoor plants as long as they get a sufficient amount of light & air circulation. Please be careful with the watering as the medium retains too much moisture.
