Short Description: Peristeria elata sp. is a species native to Central America to Panama, Venezuala and Ecuador. Also commonly called as the Holy Ghost orchid or the Dove orchid. The inflorescence arises from the base of the pseudobulb generally erect long, bearing 4 to 20 flowers. The base color of the flower is white or yellowish with some pink or red spots. The central part of the flower has a well-defined dove shape. Its perfume is similar to beer. It blooms between July and October.
