Description
Odontoglossum Chayenne is a hybrid odontoglossum that produces beautiful bright red flowers with a an orange skirt. Mildly fragrant flowers. The bright Red & orange oncidiums are rare to come by so grab yours now!
They Love to be placed in the north or north eastern part of the garden/ green house as this is where light levels are lower compared to other directions. Optimal growth and flowering of Odontoglossum can be achieved by exposing the plant to moderate light levels ranging from 6,000 to 10,000 lux at plant level.
Odontoglossum orchids should be watered when the potting mix is 80% dry to the touch. Water thoroughly, and then allow the potting mix to dry out again before watering again. Avoid getting water on the leaves or flowers, as this can cause them to rot.
These oncidiums are happy when grown in cooler climatic conditions.
