Short Description: Jumellea comorensis sp. is native to the island of Grande Comoro which is located in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Africa. Found as a small-sized, cool to warm growing, epiphytic orchid found in the rain forests with good air movement and moderate light. This species has branched and pendant, somewhat flattened stems carrying slim long dark green leaves, can bloom any time of the year. Short, single flowered inflorescence carrying fragrant flowers. Longspur, sharp-edged leaves make these flowers very attractive. A must-have in your species collection! Since it is mounted, You could spray water the plant very well every day and expose it to good air movement.
