Habenaria rhodocheila Red is native to Thailand, Cambodia & Laos, South China to peninsular Malaysia and the Philippines. Hot to warm growing terrestrial orchid. You will receive 1 tuber. The Tuber has just started to sprout and the plant will grow and bloom with you by September-October.

Habenaria are very easy to grow, This species shed their leaves after they bloom in August-September. Only tiny bulbs/tubers remain after the leaves have dropped. These bulbs need the winter rest and sprout new growth after the first rains. With the arrival of new growths, it is time to water & fertilize regularly until they bloom. When in dormancy, water the medium only when the Wandering jew plant gets dehydrated. The Wandering Jew plant is an indicator that there is a Habenaria bulb inside the pot which will sprout in a few months.
