Eria obesa is an epiphyte native to Assam, Myanmar, and Thailand. It has short, stout pseudobulbs with purple lines and 4-5 clasping leaves. Also called The Fat Eria because of the pseudobulbs. Blooms come in summer, with several very tiny shiny white-pink flowers. The mounted plants look very attractive as is even without the flowers.
