Short Description: Encyleyvola Grapelade is a hybrid orchid, As the name goes, produces lovely purple-grape coloured flowers. Encyclia hybrids are easy to bloom. The markings and deep colour comes from the parent Cattleya schilleriana. The slender star shaped petals are similar to one of the ancestors-Br. nodosa. Enclyclia orchids normally produce nice long spikes with an abundance of flowers, However, we have received this one for the first time so we are not sure about the spike height & count of flowers per spike. Grow them like the warm growing Cattleya orchids. The leaves have hints of purple coloured markings which must have come due to the deep colour of the flowers.
Please refer to plant pictures for size reference.
Note: Colors, patterns & size of the flowers can vary due to the variations produced by hybrids or species. There are chances that the buds/flowers could dry up in transit during Shipping after packing. The local climatic conditions and the nutrition given can affect the brightness & colour intensity of flowers. While we make every effort to match the actual colours of the flowers, the photographs may not be the exact representation, due to different monitor settings.
