Short Description: Dendrobium lampongense sp. BS  is a species dendrobium orchid native to the Lampung province on the southern tip of the Indonesian island of Sumatra and so comes the name. Found in lowland and hill forests at elevations of 200 to 400 meters as a large sized, hot growing epiphyte with stem-like, dark green to reddish brown pseudobulbs consisting of many nodes, deciduous leaves,  flowered inflorescence arises from a leafless cane.
