Dendrobium Akebono x Red Emperor is a soft cane dendrobium, hybrid of the two nobiles. These soft cane dendrobiums are hybrids of the dendrobium nobile species.
These beautiful Japanese-bred Nobile Dendrobiums are easy to grow, The flowers last about 2 months or more. Round flowers with bright pink petals with dark yellow in the centre with tinges of dark pink, Plants when in bloom look gorgeous, with loads of fragrant flowers which emerge all along the canes.
Nobile Type dendrobiums normally drop all their leaves and bloom on bare canes. It is normal for these plants to loose leaves just before or while they are flowering.
