Chysis limminghei sp. is native to Mexico and Central America. The aurea form is also called The Golden Chysis. Blooms are waxy and long-lasting on semi-upright stems.  These plants are usually found at low altitudes in dense, damp forests, plants tend to drop older leaves in the winter prior to new growth and bloom stems in spring and early summer. Colors range from cream with lavender to orange and peach.
