Watering
In Coconut Husk medium water retention is more compared to Pine Bark, so plants in Coconut Husk may require once in 2-3 days watering compared to 1-2 days watering in Pine Bark. Medium may dry faster or slower depending on the weather conditions. So always touch and feel the medium, only when partially dry water the plant. Learn more about watering here

Cattleya schilleriana belongs to the bifoliate tribe of cattleyas, which are characterized by having two leaves on each pseudobulb. The coerulea variety of this plant is particularly rare, and it tends to be smaller in size compared to its more common counterparts. Despite its small stature, the flowers of Cattleya schilleriana Var coerulea are simply stunning, with a high sheen and a delicious fragrance. One of its most striking features is the lip, which showcases a beautiful combination of blue striations along with green, mahogany, and white flowers.
It's important to note that during the early part of the growing season after the winter-spring break, a few leaves of this bifoliate cattleya species may appear dehydrated. This is a normal part of the growth cycle, and it should not be a cause for concern. With proper care and attention, Cattleya schilleriana can continue to thrive and produce its gorgeous blooms year after year.
