Short Description: Cattleya ( Laelia ) dayana coerulea, Is a miniature species, Native to Mexico/Brazil, the leaves do not grow more than 5" long, but blooms are large compared to the plant size. Generally the petals/sepals are curled back, the ridges on the lip are superb and so is the colour in the coerulea form. One of the rare form of L. dayana. Found growing on trees which receive sufficient amount of light and moisture. Small plants found in clumps produce large (3”) flowers, one or two per stem.
