Short Description: Brassavola cucullata is a species native to Mexico, Central America, the West Indies and northern South America, common name is daddy long-legs orchid, B. cucullata has terete leaves that are very thin pencil-like, The leaves droop, cannot stay upright, this drooping habit makes B. cucullata well suited for growing on a mount or in a basket. Not only do the plants droop, but so do the flowers. This species is one which can never grow bushy, a very lanky species. producing brilliant large flowers with long spur like petals. We have been trying very hard to bring this species for a long time, finally here it is!
Please refer plant pictures for size reference.
Note: Colors, patterns & size of the flowers can vary due to the variations produced by hybrids or species. There are chances that the buds/flowers could dry up in transit during Shipping after packing. The local climatic conditions and the nutrition given can affect the brightness & colour intensity of flowers. While we make every effort to match the actual colours of the flowers, the photographs may not be the exact representation, due to different monitor setting.
