Cattleya orchids are very sturdy and can take a lot of abuse from those who tend to forget to water. They are also tolerant of several temperature ranges.

  Light

This plant prefers bright indirect light, but can tolerate medium indirect light. Plants grown under ideal light will have apple green leaves and plants which are not getting enough light will have dark green leaves. Learn more about light here 

 Watering

In Coconut Husk medium water retention is more compared to Pine Bark, so plants in Coconut Husk may require once in 2-3 days watering compared to 1-2 days watering in Pine Bark.  Medium may dry faster or slower depending on the weather conditions. Fertilizing

Young Min Orange 'Golden Satisfaction’ is a multi- award-winning selection of this hybrid. Has won AOS & TIOS awards, bright orange blooms with lots of flowers as a bunch, about 7-8 golden-orange flowers per spike. This variety can bloom in spring as well as fall. Due to the Trick or Treat parent these plants grow into specimen size in a few years. This is a hybrid of  Rc. Viola Nuggett × Cat. Trick or Treat Plants were imported bare-root, grown in Pine Bark, now well-rooted. All plants are available with new growth.
