Calanthe vestita is a species of orchid. It is widespread throughout much of Southeast Asia from Assam to New Guinea, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia & the Philippines. It is characterized by its closely spaced pseudobulbs, which are conical-ovoid and angular in shape, The leaves are narrowly elliptic, The plant produces an inflorescence at the base of the pseudobulb that is racemose, erect, and curved at the top. The inflorescence produces showy 10-20 flowers. After one growing season, the leaves and pseudobulbs become deciduous. All plants are available with new growths.
