Short Description: Bulbophyllum phalaenopsis is a species. The largest of the Bulbophyllums. It gets the name from having foliage that is similar to Phalaenopsis, not flowers. Its flowers' fragrance is that of rotting meat that attracts flies which pollinate them. These plants when large and mature are extremely expensive. Can even get priced at a few lakhs. extremely rare. 

Phalaenopsis orchids can be grown as indoor plants as long as they get sufficient amount of light & air circulation. Please be careful with the watering as the medium retains too much moisture. Touch and feel the medium, only when partially dry water the plant. The medium could take up to a week to dry.
