Ascofinetia Cherry Blossom - Without Flowers | BS

Ascofinetia Cherry Blossom bloom very reliably in the spring. A hybrid of Neofinetia Falcata x Asctm.ampullaceum. Like many mini Vanda orchids, require moderate light and less water during the cold months as they have a lot of similarities with the parent Asctm. ampullaceum.  A wonderful hybrid with lightly fragrant, cherry pink flowers that can last for 2 months. 

Since this is a Seedling Population (not a Mericlone which produces exact duplicates), the picture is for illustration purposes only. No two plants will be the same from this cross, and they will flower in a range of possibilities coming from the two parents.

These orchids are all epiphytic. They do not like any potting medium. Vanda orchid must not be allowed to dry out entirely. Saturate the roots with water every time you water, which means the roots should turn green and retain a drop of water at the tip. Watering of these Vandas must be done with care to prevent water from remaining in the crowns ( top leaves), a condition that can cause crown rot.
