Description

Vanda Dr.Anek x Mimi Palmer is a hybrid of the two. The parentage of Vanda Mimi palmer is Tan Chay Yan X Vanda tessellata. Flowers of this hybrid are large, have a waxy texture and look very impressive because of the depth in the colour. Fragrant Flowers.

These orchids are all epiphytic. They do not like any potting medium. Vanda orchid must not be allowed to dry out entirely. Saturate the roots with water overtime you water, that means the roots should turn green and retain a drop of water at the tip. Watering of this Vandas must be done with care to prevent water from remaining in the crowns ( top leafs), a condition that can cause crown rot.
