Paphiopedilum Exul x Insigne is a hybrid of the two. This is a man-made hybrid. The flowers of each plant could vary. 

As always, water low in salts is a must. Plants should be kept evenly moist and provided with moderate light for phalaenopsis.

Paphiopedilum orchids are also called lady's slipper orchids as the lip of the flower resembles a lady's shoe. Paphiopedilums flower on each new growth once matures, with the older growths remaining on the plant to provide energy for the new plants. Older growths will eventually die off as new growths continue to emerge.
