ZZ plant tolerates neglect, is drought tolerant, and accepts low-light conditions without throwing a fit. Its waxy, smooth leaves reflect sunlight and brighten rooms. ZZ usually grows slowly to a height and width of two to three feet. Zamioculcas contains an unusually high water content of leaves and has individual leaf longevity of at least six months, which may be the reason it can survive extremely well under interior low light levels for four months without water. These plants are the best air-purifying plants for indoors.
