Short Description: Brassavola nodosa is a tough species of orchid, native to Mexico, the West Indies, Venezuela and Peru. The flowers have a heart-shaped lip, Also called the Lady-of-the-Night Orchid, smells of citrus at night to attract a nocturnal moth. Parent to a lot of hardy brassavola varieties. These unique, fast-growing plants are frequent bloomers, In some cases, they seem to bloom year-round.
