Short Description: Barkeria scandens sp. is native to Mexico. They grow on rocks, on trees and small bushes. Barkeria scandens also called as Barkeria cyclotella, Barkeria lindleyana var. cyclotella, Barker scans need a lot of cool air, It is a small to large-sized, cool growing twig epiphyte or lithophyte, Barkeria scandens are best grown mounted, The plants should be abundantly watered during active growth season, at least once a day if the weather is hot and the level of light is high, but their roots must dry quickly. Reduce the watering in a bit in winter. These plants are mounted on Terracotta tiles.
These are deciduous orchids, which drop their leaves in early winter.
