The Cycnodes Wine Delight is one of the easiest Catasetum type orchids to grow. Flowers are a deep dark red colour, giving this orchid its name. These plants were imported bare-root from Taiwan, so plants have dropped their leaves and the roots are not anchored in the medium. They are giving spikes.

The petals are curved towards the front of the flower and the lip is glossy and more deeper in colour, waxy and strong flowers. The blooms are very fragrant. The scent is more noticeable in the morning hours, while in the afternoon it completely fades away.
