Cattleya walkeriana is called the Queen of the Brazilian orchids. The plants are relatively small, do not grow big, epiphytes, lithophytes and even semi-terrestrial. this species can grow well in Intermediate-Warm climatic conditions. Bloom season is from spring to winter. One of the most fragrant Cattleya from Brazil. Inflorescences are erect to pendulous and produced from the base of the growths. Inflorescences carry 2 -3 flowers. Individual flowers are 4" - 5" across. Cattleya walkariana coerulea is rare to find, this one is a coerulea (blue) form.These plants are mounted as the roots must dry quickly after watering. Require very bright light to grow well & bloom. Plants are blooming size but not delivered with buds or flowers. Refer pictures for plant size. Read disclaimers mentioned below in more info.
